The Picasso Museum is the reference museum of the painter Pablo Picasso in Barcelona and worldwide. It opened in 1963 and has a permanent exhibition with more than 4,250 works. Among the creations exposed, you will find his famous series of Las Meninas.
The museum is in the Born neighborhood and occupies five large Catalan Gothic style palaces. It's nice to walk through the neighborhood before or after visiting the museum and even having a tapa or a caña in one of the many bars and restaurants in the area.
