Rossio Square, officially known as the Plaza Don Pedro IV, is the center of the activities in Lisbon and one of the most charming parts of the capital. There are many shops, buildings, bars, restaurants, some of them very famous like the Café Nicola. It is located right in the end of the Rua Augusta in the Baixa neighborhood. Some of the interesting spots of the square are the National Theater of Doña María II, with its romanic style and also the curious facade of the Rossio station.
