The Lisbon Cathedral, named as the Sé de Lisboa, is one of the oldest churches of the city and probably the most important. Located in Alfama and in the middle of a slope, where it passes the tram 28, this romanic style cathedral has been renewed many times due to several catastrophes like the earthquake of 1755, when half of the city was destroyed.

The cathedral has also a cloisters which is worth to visit, but it is smaller than the one in the Monastery.
