Piazza dei Mercanti, 20123 Milan, Italy

Milan’s Piazza Mercanti is one of the city’s prettiest and most picturesque plazas. It’s located very near Duomo and for many years it was the city’s commercial and government center.
The buildings surrounding the plaza are of medieval style and some were the headquarters of important services like Palazzo della Regione, seat of courts for many years, or Palazzo della Scuole Palatine, which was a very prestigious school during the Middle Ages. Of course, this part of the city is a very nice corner to pass through.
