The city of Teguise with its coast is one of the cultural and touristic centres in Lanzarote. It was the capital of the island in the past, and its streets still have the medieval style with some palaces and white old Canarian constructions. The best day you can visit it is the Sunday, when you’ll find a very big street market, quiet famous. Other interesting places of Teguise are the Museum of Santo Domingo or the Guanapay Castle. These beaches are specially charming: Playa de las Cucharas, Playa Bastián or Playa del Jablillo.
