Cueva de Los Verdes is one of the most touristic natural attractions in Lanzarote. It is a group of underground tubes (the jameos) that together with the Jameos del Agua, are one of the most interesting volcanic formations in the island. With 6 km lenght, the cave Cueva de los Verdes is one of the longest volcanic tubes in the world. The caves were formed after a volcanic eruption, which left a lava river, dry on the surface but still fluent inside. This river left some cavities and nowadays you can visit a route of 2 km underground where you can see illuminated caves.
