Times Square is one of New York's most famous landmarks. It's known worldwide for its giant screens, huge lit billboards and theater posters, it's considered to be the heart of Manhattan. Activity in Times Square never ends. On this street you will find the famous shops of Toys "R" Us, Disney and Virgin, Madame Tussaud Museum and some of the main Broadway theaters. This part of the city's one of the biggest stages of the Big Apple and has appeared in countless movies, commercials and of course, photographs. Thanks to a renovation made a few years ago, most of Times Square is pedestrians only so can enjoy the bustle of cars and people sitting on a terrace or at the stalls located at one of the ends.
