One World Trade Center is the new building that replaces the missing Twin Towers. It opened in 2013 and it's currently the tallest building in New York and the second tallest in the world.
The building can be seen from most places in the city, even from Newark Airport. It's 541 meters high just like the twin towers were, and its design represents a lit candle in tribute to freedom and in memory of all the victims of September 11, 2001 attacks. You can visit the One World Trade Center and go up to the roof located 417 meters above sea level. From there you'll have views of Manhattan that will leave you breathless.
