Central Park is New York's green lung and also, the largest and most famous park in the city and around the world. It's 4 kilometers long and 800 meters wide and hosts thousands of places and paths, so you can get lost in them and wander in nature (or almost!).Central Park has all kinds of vegetation, waterfalls, lakes, bridges and countless squirrels living quietly in the middle of New York. The best way to get to know the park is to rent a bike and ride around the area. You will see much more than walking, though the second option is also a very good one if you are wanna relax.
Strawberry Fields is one of Central Park's most iconic points. The name is in honor of John Lennon, singer, composer and a member of the British band The Beatles, who was killed there in front of his apartment by one of his fans. There's a mosaic in the park with the word "Imagine" commemorating one of Lennon's most famous songs where there are always flowers and letters from fans who visit the place.
