Brooklyn Bridge is one of New York's undisputed symbols. Its wired iron structure, along with New York's skyline, are the most wanted pictures for a trip to the Big Apple.
The bridge is one of 3 gateways that go over the East River and connect Manhattan Island with Brooklyn, but it has the title of being the oldest bridge of them all. It can be easily crossed on foot, running or cycling because the structure has an enabled pathway for pedestrians. New York's view from the Brooklyn Bridge is different and, at the same time, amazing. We definitely recommend a visit. If you don't want to walk too far, we recommend you take the subway to Brooklyn and go back walking over the bridge, or the other way around.
