The Rice University in Houston is one of the most prestigious in the United States, mostly in the areas of arts and applied sciences, besides being the pioneer of nanotechnology, chemistry and space sciences. It is near the museum district and the Texas Medical Center.

The campus has many green areas with trees, the area is wide. In the area there are facilities and buildings of all type, with a very attractive architectural design. At the Rice there’s a stadium, libraries, diverse chapels, faculties –obviously-, a gym, a pool, among other things. It is really a nice and tempting place for any student, although it is also very nice for anyone walking around the area. The university is a very lively place and there are often organized events like concerts or open-air exhibitions.
