São Paulo is a city with a lot of cultural offer, and among all its museums, the São Paulo Museum of Art is the one that stands out for hosting some of the most prominent contemporary and Western works of art in the country. The building of the SPMA is one of the most emblematic ones of the city and also one of the most popular tourist spots. It has works of such renowned artists as Rembrandt, Monet, Picasso or Degas and, since the museum isn't really big, you can visit in a morning or afternoon. During the weekends, there's an antiques and local food products market installed around the museum, and the atmosphere created is very picturesque. It is certainly a very good place to immerse yourself in the country and to taste the Brazilian flavors.
