One of the reasons why Antalya is so popular with tourists are its shores. With over 600 kilometers of coastline along the Mediterranean coast, this part of Turkey has thousands of nooks and crystal clear waters ready to welcome anyone who wants to dip in its waters.
Though the list of beautiful beaches in the Antalya's coast is rather big, the most popular beaches that are close to the city are Konyaalti Beach and Lara Beach. If you want to get a little farther, one option is to go to Patara Beach, one of the beaches that houses an endangered turtle species. You can also go to Olympos Beach or Alanya Beach. It's advisable to ask the local customs or try and ask what are the rules at the Turkish beaches. As you probably know, they have different beliefs and habits so it's very advisable to listen to everything they say to avoid any problems.
