Aspendos is one of the most cherished Greco-Roman cities in Turkey, located just 40 kms away from Antalya. It's known worldwide because it has the best preserved Roman theater in the world, but what remains of the city is pretty demolished. The theater is truly spectacular and the acoustics are fantastic. In addition, its good image leaves room for imagination to fantasize with the 15,000 people it's able to hold in its prime, between the second and third century, the time where most of these archaeological sites were built. You need to pay a fee in order to get in but if you like this type of things you're gonna love it, and if you don't perhaps this place won't make for you but... Hey!: you'll learn tons of interesting things!
