Termesso ruins are one of the best preserved ancient cities in Turkey that still retains the original place's magic. It was built in a strategic point more than 1000 meters above sea level and the area's natural resources  made that for years neither the Greeks nor the Romans could conquer the Pisidias, the original inhabitants of this steep mountain that offers amazing views. One of the truly striking things is the theater, where you can see Taurus Mountains, that are also in Turkey, in the distance.

Termessos is just over 30 kilometers northwest of Antalya and thanks to the natural and historical richness of the place, this ancient city is included in Mount Güllük-Termesso National Park.
