Maokong is a suburb in Taipei, very known for its tea tradition. Nowadays, there aren’t so many tea fields but the area has preserved the tea tradition and culture and it is also a good region from where you can get nice views of the city. In Maokong you’ll find many paths and trails which will bring you to the nature, something very common for the locals.  To arrive to the peak of Maokong Gondola, there is a cablecab which goes from Taipei stopping on the half way through a tropical forest. Onthe top there are several restaurants, food spots and tea locals to relax in the best environment.
