The National Palace Museum  is a building with the largest art Chinese collections in the world, many types of gems of the Asian culture. Actually, it has a permanent exhibition of almost 700.000 imperial beautiful objects. The museum is one of the most visited in the country and it is a very good way of understanding the Taiwanese culture. You can’t miss the small sculpture “Jadeite Cabbage”, and try to identify the lobster and the grasshopper hidden inside, one of the pieces with a higher value, an allegory to the feminity. Another interesting element to visit is the stone with a meat shape.
