Korčula is also another island very famous and often compared with Dubrovnik. It has Venetian origins and it has many historic walls and a very interesting Old Town. It is surprising how even in August its beaches are not crowded, but be prepeared because like most of the beaches of the Adriatic Sea, there is no sand, just small stones, so bring proper shoes/flip-flops for that! It is very recommended to explore St Mark’s Cathedral as well.
