From Dubrovnik, there is a city bus running down to Cavtat, and it departs very close to the airport. The city settled by Ancient Greeks and Romans has some underwater remains which can be observed by taking one of the many local diving tours. Cavtat is mostly known for the painter Vlaho Bukovac, and you can find there many pieces of his paintings at his gallery.
