Mljet is simply a paradise. It is the 8th largest Croatian island, located near the peninsula of Peljesac and also near Dubrovnik. It is characterized for having a typical Mediterranean weather with dry summers and sun almost the whole year. It has everything: crystal clear waters, lakes, islands inside, wide cultural heritage etc… The National Park is probably the most important area of the island, it is a protected park with deep bays, Mediterranean vegetation and the Great Lake and the Small Lake.
