The Jordan Museum is located in the capital of Jordan, Amman. Being a small museum, you are allowed to visit it without difficulties. An interesting fact is that among all of the relics, there are the “Dead Sea Scrolls”, a collection of 981 texts that were found in various caves near the Khirbet Qumrán. The scrolls are made with papyrus and parchment, and the only example found until today made with bronze.
In this museum the culture and traditions of the desert and of the towns and cities are also displayed.
