Plaza de España in Seville is within the Parque Maria Luisa, another of the attractions of the city. It was built during the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929 and was one of the major works of the celebration. One of the most famous features, and subject of many photos, is that this big square has a row of benches where each of the Spanish provinces are represented. It also has a fountain in the middle and a water jump, although it's a fairly dry city.
Place España has been the scene of many films, one of the most famous; Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002).
