Faiyum Lake
Located about 2 hours driving from Cairo, Faiyum Oasis is a beautiful depression in the middle of the desert. This water also known as the “Magic Lake” are thought to be used by the ancient Egyptian pharaohs for many daily life things. Nowadays, it is a saltwater lake, source of some local fish.
