About 2 hours and a half by car from Cairo, Alexandria is the second largest city in Egypt. Founded by Alexander The Great in the c. 332 BC it was an important Hellenistic civilization center and it was the capital of the Greek, Roman and Byzantine Egypt during almost 1000 years. Nowadays, Alexandria it is a very touristic city, with many must-see attractions to be discovered.
