This anient town sitting on the Nile in the south of Egypt, is a beautiful tourist centre and an interesting place to visit while you are in Egypt. Nowadays this city includes a small island which is interesting to see as well, it is called the Kitchener’s Garden. Some other must-see attractions in Aswan are the old souk and the monastery of St. Simeon.
