The Andrássy Avenue is probably the best known of all Budapest streest. It’s a world heritage site by UNESCO since 2002 due to the number of houses and neo-Renaissance palaces with beautiful facades and decorative unique elements. Many people say that the Andrássy Avenue has a great resemblance to the streets of Paris and in their buildings you can find some of the most prominent and luxury brand stores of the city. There are also many restaurants, cafés and stores. At number 20 of this street stands a building above the rest: the Hungarian National Opera House, an imposing and fantastic Renaissance building considered one of the most prestigious music institutions in the world for its sound quality.
