Heroes Square in Budapest is the place where Hungarian history is told by means of statues. The set of sculptures in the middle of the square is known as the Millennium Memorial. Among the sculptures there are the leaders of the seven migiares tribes, founders of Hungary along with other important figures in the history of the country.
The size of the square is impressive and equally striking is that it's flanked by two museums, which make the place a sober and imposing site. The square connects with the Andrássy Avenue and with this street it is also a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 2002.
