The village of Garachico is located in the natural pools of El Calentón,some pools of lava created in the eruption of 1706, which buried the village. These natural pools are awesome and it is a different and unique way of taking a bath in the Atlantic. They are connected with stairs and in some points you can even snorkel a bit. While in the village you can also visit the Castillo de San Miguel and its fort.
