Tabriz is located about 6 hours driving from Tehran, but if you have time it is definetely worth to be visited. It is the busiest city of the Iranian Azerbaijan, and one of the most historical cities in Iran. It is located in the Quru river valley surrounded by the Sahand and Eynali mountains. Some of its historical monuments are: the grand Bazaar of Tabriz (World Heritage site), the Blue Mosque or the site Rab-e Rashidi.
