The beautiful Anzali Lagoon is located by the Caspian Sea near Bandar-e- Anzali, in the north of the country. Even though it is not recommended to swim in it, it is a famous spot for the bird watching. There are some islands located in the lagoon like Bozorg, Kouchak and Mianposhteh.
