Maranjab desert is considered one of the most beautiful areas of the whole Persian country. It has the Salt Lake which is impressive, but you can also visit the stunning Maranjab castle caravanserai on th e Silk route or simply the tallest sand dunes which can be until 70 metres (in Kvyrnd) with the Karshahy castle. It is definetely recommended to take a tour in this area to get to know more about its beauty and rich history (despite it is quiet far from Tehran).
