Azadi Tower also known as the “Freedom tower or the Shahyad tower” is a huge monument located at the Azadi square in Tehran and probably one of the main symbols of the city. It is the west entrance to the capital city and it belongs to the Azadi Cultural Complex, including a museum underground. It is 34 metres high and its whole structure is made in cut marble.
