The Aurora cruise is one of the most loved symbols in Saint Petersburg. This warship was built to participate in 1900 in the Japan war and it had also an important role in the First World War. But the Aurora cruise is world wide known for its role in the Soviet Revolution on the 25th of October of 1917. At 10 in the morning they shooted from the cannon and started the assault of the Winter Palace. Nowadays you can visit it as a boat-museum.
