The Colosseum is undoubtedly the main touristic attraction of the city, where the main archaeological attractions or Rome are concentrated. It is one of the 7 wonders built by the man, one of the main icons of Italy and an essential to understand the Eternal city.

The Colosseum concentrated every day thousands of tourists which want to see in live the jew of the city which is almost preserved as how it was in its beggining, and also in which you can discover a lot about the history an how the gladiators where fighting for their life. Just in the moment when you enter in the Colosseum you can hear a worldliness noise which used to be in the performances and so you can imagine how it was the life in this golden age.

It is recommended to visit it early in the morning to avoid long queues and also to hire a guided tour to know and discover all the details of the building, like for example the boat battles inside in where more than 2000 people died and which lasted more than 100 days.

After this amazing building you can visit the Arco di Constantino, take a picture with the gladiators and visit the Roman Forum and the Palatino.
