Another main feature of Rome a part from the archaeological remains is the beauty of its squares. One of the most beautiful and emblematics is the Piazza Navona, located in the centre of the city.

This square was one day a big stadum called Circo Dominicano where the athletic games were celebrated, and along the square there are three main baroque style fountains which are beautiful. The one which is more impressive is probably the Fiumi, created by Bernini and it represents the 4 biggest rivers of the world: Ganges, Danube, de la Plata and Nile.

This square is an ideal place to get into the life style of the Romans, to rest taking an ice-cream or a coffee in one of its expensive ice-cream parlours, to walk among artists which paint their art pieces.
