The Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park is one of the best kept secrets in Punta Cana. It is a 600 hectares natural park protected by the Ecological Foundation of Punta Cana, where the vegetation and natural sites are amazing. The area is formed by the tropical woods with twelve lagoons of fresh water. These lagoons give the name to the park, because the natives who lived there named them. To visit this Ecological Park, the path to follow leads to different areas where there are springs, mangroves and a wide area of wild nature. In the furthermost lagoons people can take a bath, which is nice after the walk. And also, an animal farm can be visited, with every type of exotic animals, like the zone of the iguanas or go around the coast in a catamaran or ride a horse along the shore of the beach.
