The Blue Hole cave is a natural pool –or natural well- that is located in one of the natural parks of Punta Cana, the Scape Park. This pool is one of the favorite attractions among tourists, mostly because of the intense blue color of the water. This cave is at the base of a cliff, and when is warmed by the sun, the water is still cold comparing to the water along the coasts of Punta Cana. Inside the cave, there are stairs that allow you to do go down to the water and you can take a bath…remember to bring a bathing suit!
Next to the Blue Hole there is the Iguabonita Cave, another one of the natural marvels of this paradise. To arrive in this natural corner of Punta Cana, you need to walk through the jungle so we recommend bringing a good pair of shoes and a bottle of water.
