Located right next to the Lotus Pond, Kaohsiung’s Confucius Temple is the largest of its kind in Taiwan. Its construction was finished in the ’70s, a replica of a temple from the Song Dynasty era. It’s an impressive and breathetaking building, but something important to remark is to not visit it on Confucius’ birthday, on September 28, because it will be full of worshippers.
