Santa Maria del Fiore, also known as il Duomo (“The Duomo”) is the Florence’s main cathedral of Florence and its main landmark and skyline symbol. It is known for its beauty and huge size, but also for the wide and rich history, being a masterpiece to visit in Italy. The Cathedral took over 140 years to be completed, and it is the larges masonry dome in the world.
