Freedom park is considered Charlotte's heart and is the locals' favourite one. It's about 4km. Away from downtown but that doesn't stop the residents from moving to this green area and spending hours or even whole days in it!  One of its highlights is the east zone lake 'cause it's surrounded by paths where many runners practice sport. Feedom park has tennis and volleyball courts and kids for the youngest to play too.
Charlotte's Natural Museum is near the park. It's a natural history center shwoing the fauna and flora of the area where most of the activities are for to kids.
