Beit ed dine (meaning the house of the religion) is a nice small town up hill from Beirut, near the other quiet known village,  Deir el Qamar. It is famous for its marvelous Beiteddine Palace, where every year takes place the Beiteddine party. This palace started to be built in 1788 by the emir Bashir Shihab II and the construction took 30 years. It is definetely something beautiful and worth to visit.
