One of the most beautiful pearls in the Lebanon and probably one of the most marvelous natural wonders in the whole Middle East. In the valley of Nahr El-Kalb (Dog River), about 18 km in the north from Beirut, you’ll find this amazing mountainous caves surrounded with trees. It was discovered in 1836 by an American missionary. There is a lower cave and an upper cave, both very worth to be explored.
