Located about 20 km from Zagreb (about half hour by bus), Samobor is an amazing city to have a day trip. It has the main square, the Trg kralja Tomislava and it is famous for its samoborska kremsnita, a local cake. You can also visit he churches of St Anastasia and St Anne and the city museum, Marton Museum, and the Stari Grad castle.
