Taxi

In the capital city of Croatia, you can find three main taxi companies: Eko-Taxi, which starts with a rate of 8,80 kunas and every kilometre thereof 6 kunas (phone: 1414); Radio Taksi Zagreb, which starts with a rate of 10 kunas and every kilometre thereof 6 kunas (phone 1777); and Taxi Cammeo, which starts with a rate of 6 kunas and every kilometre thereof 6 Kunas (phone 1212). You also have Uber, which is always cheaper, starting with a rate of 6 kunas and every kilometre thereof 3 kunas.

 

Bus

Zagreb is very well connected by bus with 20 cities in Croatia and with many other countries like Germany, Sweden or Serbia. The Zagreb Bus Terminal is located about 3 km from the centre of the city, so a walk of no more than 15 minutes. The city is very well connected with buses as well.

 

Car rental

The best way of travelling around the region is certainly renting a private car, so you can discover every corner of the area without depending on bus timetable. Depending on the season of the year it’s better to book in advance, but you can also do it in the airport, where you’ll find all the available options.

 

Bike rental

It is very easy to rent a bike in Zagreb, and actually, it is also a very good way for travelling the city around and discover all of its kept corners and spots. You can find bike rental for 14€ per day or 6€ per 3 hours, for example.
