Warsaw's Old City is the historical downtown and the oldest part. Though rebuilt after WWII, it was made just as it was before being destroyed. The heart of the city is Rynek Stareo Miasta, old downtown square, a beautiful square with a skating ring in winter and bars and terraces in summer. Other main buildings are the Royal Castle, old Polish kings residence, Market Square and Saint John's cathedral, all of them rebuilt after the war.
