The Masmak fort is near the Blue Mosk and the Justice Palace (Al Jamea Qasr Al Hukon) in the heart of the city of Riyadh. It is one of the main touristic attractions of the Saudi Arabian capital, mainly because it is very well preserved, it was built around 1865. The fort has a museum with a wide exhibition which has maps, photographeis or Arabia, guns, tools for agriculture and other items from the country and the Arabic culture.
