One of the typical foods of Punta Cana are the fish and seafood barbeques. Being that it’s coastal, the fish and seafood are a frequent dishes on the restaurant menus. One of the common dishes is the Creole fish filet – yam served with scampi and coconut. A really common sauce is the Criollo, a seasoning made with soft tomatoes, or la diabla, a spicy tomato sauce.
