Although Punta Cana is a warm destination, gastronomically it also offers soups elaborated with local ingredients,like the Asopao, a soup made with rice, chicken and tomatoes, with coriander and in some cases, olives. In some restaurants they add seafood. This dish tends to be eaten for dinner and to fight against the heat.
