Sorrento is located on an idyllic cliff in the Southwest region of Campania, overlooking to the beautiful Bay of Naples and it is a must-see city if you are travelling through Italy. It is ideal to rent a bike or a motorbike to discover the city, but also hiking around. From Sorrento you can go in just 30 minutes by train to the ancient city of Pompeii. The city and region is also famous for its good wines. In the city, it is worth to visit the church of San Francesco, the Cathedral of Sorrento, the Basilica of Sant’Antonio, the Correale di Terranova Museum and also going to the ports of the city, Marina Piccolo and Marina Grande, from where you can take ferries to Naples or to Capri.
