If you go to Naples you can’t miss the Duomo of Napoli, Naple’s Cathedral. It is a 14th century French Gothic church built by the Angevins (1266-1435), it is the home of the Crypt and the Chael of Naples Patron Saint: San Gennaro (Saint Januarius). The Gothic cathedral was built on and around the paleo-Christian Basilica di Santa Restituta and around it there are several catacombs with archaeological remains of ancient Greek, Roman and also Christian civilizations.
